Watercolour Florals Workshop
Enjoy an inspiring day of creativity with us here at Taylor + Co
Based in the idyllic location of the Vale of Belvoir, Taylor + Co offers a beautiful & welcoming space to explore creativity & social connections.
Join us for an experimental workshop, exploring the potential of ink/watercolour to capture the essence of florals.
In this workshop you will be able to free yourself up, let go of your inhibitions and begin creating dynamic, expressive paintings.
Playing with fluid water-based media, you will learn how to use chance to exploit accidental effects, and work with resists, to enhance your paintings.
Whether you are an artist or craft maker or embarking for the first time with little experience, Kate and Nicola encourage & celebrate the development of the creative voice in all students they meet, whilst having a few laughs on the way.
And just to reassure you …. As Artists, practicing designers & Educators for over 25 years, both Kate Johnson (BA Artist/Printmaker) & Nicola Taylor (MA RCA) offer expertise & personalised tuition in all areas of Art and Design.
This workshop consists of a morning session of demonstrations and trying out techniques & an afternoon session of producing one or more paintings to take home.
A vegetarian lunch will be provided.
All art materials are supplied so all you need to bring is yourself.
At the end of the workshop, you will take away all work completed during the session and the knowledge of how to continue further exploration at home.
Optional Workshop Dates:
Saturday 15th March 2025
Saturday 10th May 2025
Saturday 14th June 2025
